A friend brought me to Ellen's Nursery a couple years ago. I was very impressed by the variety of beautiful, fresh plants. I had no particular plants in mind and by the time I left I had a fantastic combination for my patio garden. Ellen was on hand to help in choosing the best color and height for my shade beds. I have never had a better experience in gardening anywhere. I have been back often after that first visit. There is not a better nursery in the area and with fabulous prices as well.

I ran into a lady in the Wal Mart Garden department in Pearl, Mississippi - in discussing plants she asked if I had ever visited Ellen's in Crystal Springs - said she had unusual plants not found everywhere. Road trip! My husband and I visited Ellen's and made the decision right there and then that I would be coming back every year. We were immediately greeted by the owner who was there to answer questions but also just gave us the run of the place to look and be amazed at the varieties of the plants carried. Her prices were very competitive and the healthiness of the plants would warrant the 20 mile drive from Pearl to Crystal Springs. Ellen was very helpful - even answered questions about plants I already have. The layout of the nursery was very inviting - got some ideas to incorporate into my own garden. Of course, I have to mention Daisy the precious little dog - she is definitely a draw. Overall it was a very fun experience and I will definitely be headed that way again.
