The garden center as you see it today has grown quite a bit. The original garden center is now our perennial department. The little log building was our first store. The brick walks I built one brick at a time have stood the test of time and meander you through the tables of perennials at a leisurely pace. As the nursery grew so did many of our departments.

We had extensive landscaping done by Grossmans in the Spring of 2014. Two large trees were not thriving in the Fall and Larry came to see them. He assured me that he would stand behind the contract if they did not improve. I sent him pictures of the large maple two weeks ago and he did a drive by and said he would replace it. The tree was replaced by another inferior tree. Broken branches and dead branches with no leaves. We also had replaced five hydrangeas that had been planted in all day sun and another oak leaf hydrangea that consisted of one branch. A large redbud tree had many dead branches and we had it trimmed back. I spoke with a contact at the BBB and she said that they have had many complaints about Grossmans in the past.
