I visited the Houston Garden Center Sunday March 2017. Angie was at the register, I had already been in line for 10-15minutes. She was having problems with her register, using scissors to take the paper out. Obviously she didn't know how to change the paper-tape out of the register using scissors. I told her she should get help, after 10minutes a another person came to assist. After waiting so long I asked her we should get a discount. She was rude and said if we didn't like we should go to a different store. She has no Customer service skills , no apologies were mentioned for taking so long. I will certainly stop shopping at Houston Garden Center. Would not like to see Angie and her bad attitude.

On Fri. June 14, 2013, around 3 p.m., I visited this store b/c about two months ago I bought a hanging basket and the hanging hooks (two of the four) had broken. I tried to explain to the "manager", that I just wanted a replacement of the hooks not the whole hanging basket. I tried to tell him that I had the receipt at home & I would be glad to bring it. He just kept knotting his head "no", and pointed to the sign several times which stated that all sales are final and that he couldn't make it good b/c they had the same amount of hooks as baskets. He just kept saying "no" and shaking his head "no". He was very unprofessional and rude. In my opinon, he has no business being in set position. I will not go back and will encourage others not to as well.

Do not buy your Christmas tree from here, We bought one four days ago. It has been sitting on our patio in a bucket of water with tree preservative added that we purchased from them. The branches are already covered with dead needles. They do not answer their phone .It pays to pay more and get a truly fresh tree. I recommend Cornelius and will be replacing this near dead one with a tree from them.
